Welding is a pillar of success and a strategic factor for Decom srl which constantly aims at the growth and continuous improvement of its resources, both technological and human. The team of welders is highly qualified and allows Decom Srl to face new challenges and to manage projects of any size and complexity, satisfying customer needs in a timely and reliable manner.

In addition to the work challenges, the welders of Decom srl also engage in and excel in those of a more playful nature, but equally important to underline their professionalism. In particular, it is with great satisfaction that the entire company wishes to congratulate its young welder Dario Vicidomini, who turned out to be among the 7 finalists for the GMAW category at the Italian Welding Olympics organized by the IIS – ISTITUTO ITALIANO DELLA SALDATURA.

The final took place last 05/05/2023 at the IIS headquarters in Genoa with a surprising result: 3rd place for Dario Vicidomini who, like never before, reaches the lowest step of the podium in his first participation in the competition.

Decom srl, which strongly wanted its participation, is extremely proud of this result which confirms the excellent work done on young people.

The official award ceremony was held on 24/05/2023 during the National Welding Days at the Congress Center of the Porto Antico in Genoa. It was a truly emotional moment also for Vincenzo and Francesco De Simone, director and human resources manager respectively, who were present in the room to honor Dario’s victory who collected the award for what he considers a real passion rather than a job.

For Dario, as for Decom srl, this year’s participation was the debut in the competition and the stated goal right from the start is to work to continue improving and bring other welders to compete in the 2025 edition.

In closing, in Il Secolo XIX, on the sidelines of the conference, the greeting of our administrator Ing. Vincenzo De Simone representing all the Italian SMEs that collaborate in the vast world of welding.
