Expanding its products and services and opening up to new markets are two key objectives for Decom srl.

With this purpose and to meet the needs of our customers in the railway sector, the certification process for UNI EN 15085 has just been completed with the issuance of the certificate by IIS CERT srl – Gruppo Istituto Italiano della Saldatura, following the audit in mid-October.

The standard regulates the welding specifications of railway vehicles and their components, defining the classification levels for welded components, the types of activities typically undertaken and the requirements to be met to demonstrate compliance.

At the same time during the inspection, this certificate was integrated through the verification of compliance with the requirements for the railway sector also with respect to the ISO 3834 standard (quality requirements for fusion welding of metallic materials).
